Pony Rides (for ages 2 & up)
Pony rides are an excellent alternative for children who are too young to take lessons or are bored by traditional recreational trail riding. Our Pony Rides are a fun, stimulating and confidence building activity designed with the young in mind. Sessions are usually private, but groups are more than welcome! These One hour sessions include a lesson on catching, leading, grooming, and “saddle games”. These games put a focus on balance and motor skill development. Different games include the “stamp” game, the “clothes pin” game, and the “stretch” game, which all are done while riding in the saddle! After the ride, each participant gets to decorate their pony with water-based washable paints and glitter!
With an emphasis on safety, all Pony Rides are done on a Lunge Line so the instructor remains in complete control at all times. Each participant must be able to follow the rules given by the instructor or they will not be allowed to continue in their session for safety reasons. You will not be charged for your session if it is ended early for this reason. All sessions are one hour long, but not all children can tolerate a full hour. We do not make up for lost time if a child does not complete a full hour ride.

$25 Per child per private session for Pony Rides that take the place of traditional lessons and are bought in blocks of 4 or more sessions per month.
